The minotaur's eyes are much more skillfully crafted than
the rest of the statue, and appear to have been set in after
the main statue body was created. They reflect what looks
like an attitude of utter fearlessness and ferocity, and you
shudder when you think that the real beast must truly exist.
At any rate, since they are separate, they might be moved.
