There are but a few straggling characters scratched into the

floor here, and due to their shaky hand you presume that

they were written in haste. Apparently parts have been

worn out with the passage of time. They read: "Do n#t push

th# le## ey#! #or#, ##e, h###, #### is th# #ay thr##gh."

There appears to be more, but much is scratched out.
