This shiny metal contraption is smooth and seamless. Its
myriad parts fit together bewilderingly, so that you do not
know where one part begins and the next ends. You have never
seen anything like it. Its tall, pillar-like shape is broken
by three dark slots spaced evenly about its surface. A faint
hum comes from within, and it is slightly warm to the touch.
