This gloomy, unsettling forest is beautiful in a dark sort of way.

The trees are black as coal, and are very tall. Their thick, knotted

branches twist every which way so that they appear to be contorted in

pain, though this is surely not the case. The leaves are a dark green,

and are nearly as thick as leather. The road passing through this

forest is barely lit as the canopy of branches overhead nearly blocks

out the light from the sun. You can exit the forest to the northwest.
