This somber stone chamber is barely illuminated by the many torches

lining its walls, and it seems to stretch on forever. Many marble

slabs lay in neatly ordered rows about the room, some of them bearing

sheet-shrouded forms upon them. White clad priests solemnly stride

throughout the hall, making preparations for burial of the dead. The

only sound is the faint shuffling of the priests, and the occasional

closing of a door. A stone staircase set in the east wall leads up.
