The rocky edge of the desert abruptly ends here as it meets the mouth

of a gaping jagged chasm. The chasm looks to be a mile wide, its sheer

walls dropping down into unseen depths. Two massive wooden posts have

been driven into the rock here, each as wide as a man and twice as

tall. Hanging from the posts are the remains of a rope bridge, which

must once have been incredibly impressive, with ropes as thick as your

arm braided together. To the south is a large canvas tent.
