Limestone Caverns, Huge Pit

The pale walls of these crumbling caverns are coated with a fine
layer of sand dust. A hot, feeble wind blows through the tunnels,
bringing with it an unpleasant smell and unnerving chittering sounds.
A massive, dark pit gapes at the end of the short passage beyond the
gate. It might be possible to climb back out after jumping in, but
then again, who knows what might be down there to prevent you from
getting out...
