Underground Lake

The lake water flows up to a smooth, even sand bar here. Claw marks
in the sand line a narrow ledge near the back side of the sand bar,
where it meets the cavern wall. The sand looks rather loosely packed
and you wonder if there was a way to get through it to what may lie
on the other side.
