These lofty mountains are a wondrous balance between the beautiful and

the deadly-- their twisting, razor-sharp spires reach elegantly

towards the sky, but they mean certain death to anyone foolish enough

to attempt scaling them. Birds of prey and other winged beasts circle

high above, their cries echoing off of the naked peaks. The

crevice ends in a sheer cliff here, covered in thick brown vines the

diameter of a staff. The only obvious exit is back along the trail.
