This wide, litter-cluttered street is paved with broken and chipped

flagstones. Tall, rickety buildings tower above on either side of the

street, their barred and curtained windows disquietingly watchful.

Flickering light is provided by lit torches fastened to the walls. A

store with a large shield hanging on its sign stands to the west, and

to the east, a heavy gated building sits, an iron sign riveted to its

wall. The street continues north and south here.
