This appears to be a small town nestled in the centre of the valley.

It presents a disheartening sight, even vaguely disturbing, as it is

constructed largely of grey stone and charcoal-coloured wood. Torches

set in the sides of the buildings provide the only light. A smallish

stone building stands to the north, the sign on its door showing an

open sack. To the south, a low wooden structure stands, its door

nailed shut and crossed over with planks. Its sign shows a mug of ale.
