This is a wide passageway in the heart of the forbidding keep. The

massive dark stones of the walls seem to radiate evil, their surface

reflecting the torchlight with an oily gleam. Tapestries lining the

walls show a hideous horned skull on a blood-red field. Alcoves are

evenly spaced along the walls of the corridor, which continues to the

southeast and northwest. There are ironbound wooden doors to the

northeast and southwest.
