This is a pathway through some of the largest darkwood trees you have

ever seen. These giants reach so far up into the sky that the treetops

are completely obscured by the lower branches, plunging this area into

a perpetual twilight. The trees are so old and twisted that their

roots have fused together in a spidery network. The path through this

grove begins in front of a mammoth darkwood tree bordered with dense

thornbushes, and forks to the south and southwest here.
