At first the old man doesn't respond and his eyes widen, as if locked in some dreadful nightmare that he can't escape. Finally he is able to return to reality, and turns his head to you in a daze asking "Are you the Messenger of Tribulation?"
Without waiting for reply he faces forward again, as if being forced to begin a new nightmare.
