The shopkeeper says, "Welcome, friend. It is always a refreshing sight to see
another adventurer beginning his career! Please have a look at my fine
selection of weaponry, although if you are anything like the average 
newcomer, you are no doubt flat broke. In that case, I have simple wooden
quarterstaves for use until you acquire enough money to buy a fine steel
weapon. Just take a look at my STOCK and pick something you like!"
