This ripped piece of parchment is inscribed with an fine, spidery hand:

The path to the plague site is long and arduous, and a detailed description of
the way would take many pages. In essence, you must travel to the upper level
of the caverns. At the southern end of the upper level's passages is a long
tunnel which continues to the southeast for quite some ways. Upon reaching the
southeastern-most dead-end, you must rub the bracelet you have been given. This
will reveal the concealed entrance to the test site.
