You thumb through the diary. At the beginning, the entries seem normal enough--the gravedigger's simple but firm handwriting cataloguing burials, and noting the occasional full moon and such... [0;1;32m...But something catches your eye as you skim through the pages...[0;32m "Silvermere Council has ordered excavation past the Marble Tomb. History has said this place is to never be disturbed, but how little our own city remembers this. I fear what it may bring." [0;1;32m...A few pages later...[0;32m "Excavation is finished, and the undead have grown more restless. My charm of protection seems to affect them less and less. Just last night, after burying some poor sod, a zombie approached me and almost took a swing at me, and then moved on. I don't know if I'm being paranoid or not, but I feel more ill is going to come of this." [0;1;32m...Another page reads...[0;32m "Today I had to beat off two zombies and a skeleton before finding solace in my shack. Must remember to go to the bishop or Sheriff and ask for aid." [0;1;32m...As you get close to the end of the diary, another page catches your eye...[0;32m "Heavens forgive me... I know not what I have done. Last night, as I was burying what was left of a dwarf who had met up with too many dire wolves, a black-cloaked figure suddenly appeared out of thin air. He smelled worse than any coffin I've ever had to dig up, and though I could not see his face, I could somehow sense evil, and I felt a chill crawl over my body. The figure did not speak, and yet I heard a voice echoing in my head... a voice that terrified me to my very bones... 'It will only get worse before it gets better, mortal. A dark plague is coming to consume this land. This has been foretold, but it appears that the victorious seem to forget old debts. I offer you the chance to join the side that is destined for victory, or I can end your living misery and ensure that your bones never find rest.' Frozen with fear, I could only

nod my head numbly. 'Wise choice, mortal,' the dreadful voice growled. 'Take this, as a token of your allegiance to me. It will cause the undead to ignore you, and only you. Remember me. I'm not through with you yet.' Then the figure vanished, leaving behind a black shovel covered in horrible runes. Though I tried to resist, the shovel seemed to find its way to my hand, and I felt my stomach twinge when I touched it. I did not dream well last night......" [0;1;32m...Every page after this entry is barely legible... You can only make out a few words here and there... "help me... PROPHECY... mother... HE COMES... right... been a cobbler... DEATH SHALL COME AGAIN..."
