Even before the Kings forces could recover their dead or their weapons word came that Gnolls were attacking the southern suburbs of Silvermere from the Dragons Teeth Hills and they were recalled with all haste to the City. Footsore and tired the force charged the entire route, through the Cave and the Forest, up the Forest Road and right through Silvermere without a pause. With the lightly armored Mystics, Rangers, Ninjas and Druids trotting in the lead they charged through the Western Door into the heart of the besieging Gnoll 
army. The Gnolls were thrown into disarray but the Kings forces once again suffered heavy losses in the most lightly armored of the troops. Kreegaks Gnolls, acting on orders of Lord Cambron mounted a quick counterattack but it was beaten off with only small losses amongst the Kings troops and the City Militia was able to close the Western Door and mount a solid defense over the now ruined workers quarters in the suburb.
