The Summarized Theories of Dark Distortion - 
By the Great Zanthusonius
Though many before have futile tried to write the theory thus far of the Dark Distortion, I Zanthusonius shall take it upon myself to write the collection with a more knowledgeable and delicate hand. And so I begin reader take heed, no
one can be more brilliant in their writings then me.

The Dark Distortion is more or less derived from another theory concerning the universe existing in several instances. Each instance being of it's own independent system then those others that exist with it. Many speculations indicate that one could possibly even go between instances, seeing each one
with each course changed. Other speculations indicate that planar existences
can also be used to traverse these great voids between instances of different
multiversal situations. With that said the Dark Distortion was developed with by the thinking of the most enlightened Helvectus, who determined that in these various instances that for each single reality there is a distorted one, purely
corrupted by the powers of supreme evil. Further he has scribed in his previous
writings that those dark distortions ultimately connect with that instance of
reality for which it is distorted by, and if that connection were brought about
by focused energy through a single body, he would reap rewards from both worlds.
Rumour spreads that this Helvectus attempted many times to create such connections between twisted and untwisted worlds, how ever since his abrupt

vanishing 100 years ago no one else has attempted duplication of this theory, or no one that has survived at least. Moving forward, the basics are that most things evil in the uncorrupted instance are even more so in the distorted one, while things that may be of pure or balanced mind have some taint on them, significant or no, nothing is virginal in this dark reality. Many writings indicate that religious writings that describe end time cataclysm's actually refer to this event of merging where the pure and vile become as one, obliterating both in the process. With the many elements of planar travel that occur this is most likely not due to occur, simply because of low risk odds 
that enough power could be gathered as a source to manifest such a polyversal event. I shall continue with this in other writings as my research of Helvectus continues on ward.
