The rippling surface of the river appears to be molten silver,

shimmering mysteriously in the mist. Occasionally a loud splash can be

heard, quickly followed by strange shadows moving within the water.

The river flows very quickly downstream to the west, and is often

perilous to travel. A dark, forbidding forest lies to the north,

blocking all passage in that direction with its close-knit trees. To

the south, a plain covered in long, waving green grasses lies.
