The rippling surface of the river appears to be molten silver,

shimmering mysteriously in the mist. Occasionally a loud splash can be

heard, quickly followed by strange shadows moving within the water.

The river flows very quickly downstream to the west, and is often

perilous to travel. Here the river narrows somewhat, and is closely

crowded on both sides by the encroaching Darkwood forest. To the

east, the river heads into a tunnel-like formation in the woods.
