is tasteless and utterly still, the ground flat, hard and dark. A
feeling of damnation permeates the area, as if the life force of the
plane had been eradicated, or somehow absorbed. Strange, bloodcurdling
cries echo about, their haunting sounds oddly muffled and distorted.
