Build a character

Pick a race, class and level, then spend the creation points. This is the question a paste cannot answer — not "what am I now" but what would I be at level 40, and whether a camp is survivable for that character.

Costs follow the game's own creation chart: the tenth point in a stat is cheap, the fortieth is not. A race's stat maximum is a hard ceiling, and the point pool grows with level. Race and class abilities are applied, so a Dark-Elf Ninja is not a Human Warrior with different numbers.

Who

Spend the points

A level 1 Dark-Elf has 100 creation points in total. The fields hold the finished statistic — they start at the race's base and you push them up, the way the game's own creation screen works. The cost of each step rises: the first ten points in a stat are cheap, the fortieth are not.

0 spent of 100 100 left updates as you change the fields

Gear

Optional, and it changes almost everything below: a suit of armour moves AC, DR, weight and dodge, and a weapon's speed decides how often you swing. Costs no creation points — it is what you would go and buy or find.

Only what this build can actually use is listed. Items are restricted by class, race, level and alignment, and those restrictions live as hidden abilities on the item rather than as columns. Raising the level above will bring more gear into these lists — which is the honest way to plan ahead, because the numbers below then describe a character who can really wear them. 573 items hidden for this build

The arithmetic

0 points spent
100 points available
100 left over

100 points unspent. A build that leaves points on the table is legal but weaker than it needs to be.

40 STR
50 INT
30 WIL

50 AGI
40 CHA

Hit points 4–7 — the class range is rolled per level, so a real character lands somewhere in there rather than on a number. · mana 10 · reaching level 1 costs 2,550 experience.
